In April, five regional carriers nabbed themselves the iPhone 4S: nTelos, Alaska Communications, Appalachian Wireless, GCI, and Cellcom. Now, another handful have joined the crowd, Bluegrass Cellular, Golden State Cellular and Nex-Tech Wireless — all of whom will have the iPhone 4S for sale come May 18th.
These three carriers will offer the device at $50 lower than the usual major carrier asking price, which I’m sure they’re hoping will help them attract customers who would otherwise go with a nationwide provider. What remains to be seen is if these manoevers are successful.
And still nothing for T-Mobile — though that might be changing soon.
