According to a report by the WSJ, Apple has kicked production into full gear for the upcoming (and heavily rumored) iPad Mini.
Their sources haven’t revealed any great new surprises, and the publication states that :
South Korea’s LG Display Co. and Taiwan’s AU Optronics Corp.began mass production of the LCD screens for the new device last month, the people said.
With the iPad Mini launch event rumored for October 17 and some major component leaks, there’s no point in arguing now that this device is definitely coming. It’ll have a 7.85-inch screen, and a new Lightning connector, but other than that, there’s not an awful lot we know about it. The real question on our minds is how much it’ll cost, how high-res the screen will be, and if it’ll be on LTE or not.
