Talking to Bloomberg, Wal-Mart’s Gary Severson, senior vice president of entertainment said, “we anticipate being able to have the iPad later this year.” The biggest of the big-box retailers plans to get the tablets into their stores, but are not letting any details slip about specifically when or at what price.
This will be part of an overall electronics expansion from the retailer, who have had the iPhone since the end of 2008.
Assumedly, by the time the device heads out to Wal-Marts around the country, Apple will actually have some units in stock, unlike currently, where the device is next to impossible to get your hands on.

I bought my iPhone at walmart. They are very nice folks. I would love to get the iPad their rather than from the kool-aid drinkers at the Apple store.
I meant “there” rather than “their.”
