If you find yourself stuck in a Verizon contract that won’t allow any subsidies, you will have to pay a pretty penny to purchase a Verizon iPhone off contract. Verizon lets us know that you will be able to take advantage of the off-contract pricing when pre-orders begin on February 3rd at 3:00 am. For a 16GB iPhone, it’s $649.99 and $749.99 for a 32GB iPhone.

My mistake, I missed it.
I am tied to a droid x verizon contract till 2012. If I purchase the iPhone tomorrow at full price, am I just paying the full price or full price plus the termination fee of $350?
You would pay the full price. You wouldn’t be leaving Verizon, so wouldn’t have to pay a termination fee.
I have a droid x that I bought on July 15, 2010. I am horrible with understanding upgrades and everything. Do you know much the HTC Thunderbolt will be at both regular price and upgrade price – because I think I could use my mom’s upgrade?
