If you are a Verizon customer, the time to pre-order a Verizon iPhone is now. Early this morning, Verizon began sales on their site and it’s also available through Apple.com. If you pre-order the Verizon iPhone, it will deliver by February 10th, which is the day it goes on sale at retail locations and for those who are not currently Verizon customers.
Many Verizon customers have waited a long time for this day, but it might bring plenty of grief, depending upon where you sit in your contract. Those Verizon customers who are out of contract will be able to purchase a Verizon iPhone at the subsidized price of either $199 for the 16GB model or $299 for the 32GB model. If you recently picked a new phone, then you’ll be faced with the cringeworthy unsubsidized Verizon iPhone pricing of $649.99 for 16GB model and $749.99 for the 32GB model.
