Twelve South’s SurfacePad for iPhone Targets Naked Users

The new SurfacePad for iPhone is a new cover from Twelve South aimed at users who prefer a naked iPhone, but want something designed to protect against the typical dangers of daily life. With a trend towards military style protection, Twelve South are not shy about letting you know that the SurfacePad won’t protect your iPhone should it fall off the side of cliff. It will however deliver on its promise to provide minimal, but not invisible protection.

The leather luxury jacket (don’t call it case), is made from luxury Napa leather. It’s just 1/10th of an inch thick and weighs less than one ounce. It wraps the front and back surfaces, similar to the BookBook case for iPhone, but with far less bulk.

The micro-thin cover also features a built-in stand that will work well for watching videos or using your iPhone as an alarm clock.
