Federico Ciccarese has done a few Apple prototype concepts before — including the iPad Mini — but this is by far the most terrifying. This is a concept of a wearable iPhone, one that curves over the back of your hand. And, as you can see from the image below, it looks like something out of a bad sci-fi movie that might crawl over your face and eat your brain.
It’s a cool and interesting concept, but man, those spikes just look painful. It’s the Hellraiser version of the iPhone — and I’m willing to bet that Apple isn’t planning producing a gadget that could cut holes in your palms if you wear it wrong.
Still, full points for originality.
