When the Lightning cable was officially unveiled alongside the iPhone 5, a mad rush on Apple’s Lighting to 30-pin adapters, followed. People begrudgingly handed over $30 a pop to make their old accessories play nicely with their new phone — but have been waiting on the devices to ship since they first entered their credit card info.
According to numerous sources, those Lightning to 30-pin adapters have now started to ship — in Australia at least. We haven’t heard anything about these heading out to USA purchasers, but those down under have been getting emails telling them theirs are on the way. Hopefully, this means that the next day or two will see the rest of the world’s start to ship, too.

I received my shipping notice today. It is on the way to southern California…
