“The Lightning Dock” Is The Dock Apple Didn’t Make

The Lightning Dock Is The Dock Apple Didnt Make

A lot of people want an iPhone 5 dock — but Apple says they’re not making one. So, here come the third party options. The Lightning Dock, for instance, is a classy looking little number that pokes your Lightning cable up through a small hole in a dock, allowing your iPhone to rest comfortably. The manufacturers claim the Lightning connector is strong enough on its own to support the phone, but will add a brace if you’re so inclined.

Available in Anodized Aluminum, Black Anodized Aluminum or Hardwood for $24.95 (add $5 for the back support, and $20 for an extra Lightning cable).

It’s good to see some accessories coming out that don’t require messing around with parts authentication, and are relatively handsome, to boot. If $25 is too rich for your blood, you could always repurpose this classic.

What do our readers think? Will you get something like this to dock your new iPhone 5?
