Drumroll please…the first piece leaked from what’s claimed to be the new iPhone is…a home button. Woohoo! Available to purchase through the usual vaguely shifty Chinese sources like TVC Mall and True Supplier, which claim it to be an “iPhone 5 Home Button”.
So, what makes these any different from the existing iPhone home buttons? It’s the base, which is a rounded circle in the new ones, as opposed to a normal circle with iPhone 4S’ button. It’s a difference that’s entirely beneath the surface of the phone, so not one that’s easily spotted.
These part leaks may or may not be real — we all remember what happened prior to the iPhone 4S. However, what it could indicate is that there will still be a physical home button on the new iPhone, something that most people seem to want.

Agreed ^, I wouldn’t mind seeing the home button go actually. In fact, if they could some how make a phone where the whole face is the screen (except for the front facing camera and ear piece), that would be awesome. I wouldn’t want the phone to get too big either (ie. Samsung phones as of late).
Actually it’s like that on my 4S too…and I know it was like that on my old 4 as well.
