Yesterday was April Fools’ Day, and as always, the internet flipped its collective trying to outdo one another. Here are some of the better Apple product related ones that we’ve seen out there.
The ThinkGeek Electronic Hungry Hungry Hippos for iPad — because having everyone hammer your iPad with little plastic toys sounds like an absolutely amazing idea.
ifixit’s new iPad opening tool, which will do an admirable job of getting past the extra glue that makes it so cursedly hard to see what’s inside your new iPad.
The best, however, I’ve saved for last. The greatest April Fools jokes are always the ones which are close enough to reality, that we can’t tell them apart. Both Variety and the Hollywood Reporter are claiming that Ashton Kutcher will play Steve Jobs in an upcoming biopic. I think it’s a prank — but that may just be wishful thinking on my part.
