So who was the lucky winner of the 25 billionth app download? Apple has just announced who grabbed the lucky download, and what the app was, and that $10,000 App Store gift card is going to Chunli Fu of Qingdao, China, who grabbed Where’s My Water? Free.

Anyone have any idea what you could actually do with $10,000 at the App Store? Buy 10 $999 apps? Purchase thousands of books? 10,000 singles? That’s a lot of money to spend.

Apple’s App Store Downloads Top 25 Billion

CUPERTINO, California—March 5, 2012—Apple® today announced that more than 25 billion apps have been downloaded from its revolutionary App Store™ by the users of the more than 315 million iPhone®, iPad® and iPod touch® devices worldwide. The 25 billionth app downloaded, Where’s My Water? Free, was downloaded by Chunli Fu of Qingdao, China. As the winner of the App Store Countdown to 25 Billion Apps, Chunli Fu will receive a $10,000 iTunes® Gift Card.
