Temple Run is one of the great successes of the App Store, consistently one of the most popular titles available. Now, the sequel to the much loved (and much copied) original is set to land in the App Store tonight — at least, according to Touch Arcade. Temple Run 2 is apparently already up in the New Zealand app store, and should hit in the USA this evening.
Temple Run 2 has received a significant graphics overhaul from the original, with more curved landscapes, and the additions of ziplines and minecarts. There are four characters to chose from, each with upgradeable abilities — and, as usual, the app is free but supported by in-app purchases.
