It was just a few short days ago that Temple Run 2 popped up in the App Store, and Imangi Studios has announced that they’ve already seen a whopping 20 million downloads. Some 6 million of those hit in the first day, pushing it to top of the free charts within hours, and it’s currently high up the list of highest grossing, too.
The original still sits at a rather impressive 170 million installs, but 20 million in just four days is nothing to scoff at. As the Verge points out, that’s one of, if not the, fastest app adoption to date.
Unfortunately, it seems as though Temple Run 2o has some significant problems running on older devices. At least since it’s freemium, you don’t lose anything out of pocket by giving it a try.
