iOS 7 Version of Tweetbot for iPhone Has Been Submitted To App Store


Tapbots, makers of the incredibly awesome Tweetbot, released a statement tonight regarding the much anticipated release of an iOS 7 version of their app. The developers have been working non-stop for the last four months, with the hope of having it ready for the iOS 7 launch. Building great software isn't easy and the date was missed. Not a stretch when you consider the original app took an entire year to build. That's the bad news, now for the good news. Neither app update could be portrayed as major, but there are some subtle changes that most users will appreciate. Facebook Facebook gets a much needed refresh. The app icon hasn't changed at all, but there are some notable changes within. The developers have gone with a completely flat blue for the top bar that is now clearly labeled as your 'News Feed'. Twitter today announced an update to their official Twitter app for iPhone. Version 5.5 now incorporates launching of third-party applications from within the Twitter app. For example, if someone tweets an Instagram photo, you can now view that within the Instagram application if you have it installed on your iPhone.
