Apple Targeting Fall Release For Tablet Computer

Where there's smoke there's either an iTablet or just more iTablet rumors. Just last week, rumors swirled around a mysterious tablet device that would be available on Verizon Wireless. Now comes word via Financial Times that Apple is "racing to offer a tablet-sized computer for the Christmas season". Specs are nothing more but speculation, but FT says the screen may be up to 10 inches when measured diagonally. Netbook computers are gaining in popularity, but Apple seem uninterested in that particular market. A tablet computer could find a sweet spot between iPhone/iPod touch and the companies laptop line that starts at $999.
