The website in question has pulled the story, leading to either two conclusions. Apple Patent Reveals Flexible Wearable Device, Fuels iWatch Rumors

Patents can often point to upcoming products and with rumors of an iWatch product from Apple, this latest found filing could be a sign of new products to come. AppleInsider has spotted a USPTO filing for a “A wearable video device arranged to be worn by an end-user, comprising: a flexible substrate having a flat state and a curled state”, originally filed in August of 2011. The technology needed for such a device could very well be sourced by Corning, the company behind the Gorilla Glass used on the iPhone.
