WSJ: New iPhone To Offer 4G LTE Worldwide

A report tonight from the Wall Street Journal indicates that Apple's new iPhone 5 will support 4G LTE around the world, according to "people familiar with the matter". This confirmation comes as a surprise to no one really, considering the recent push by wireless providers to move customers to 4G LTE. Earlier this year, the new iPad (third generation) included support for 4G LTE.With Apple's yearly iPhone upgrade due next week, it would be surprising if it weren't part of the new feature set. The new iPhone is expected to feature a new 4-inch display that is taller, but not wider and will feature in-cell touch panels.
