Walter Isaacson’s authorized biography of Steve Jobs — now called simply Steve Jobs — has gone through name changes, publishing date changes and more, but in the wake of Jobs passing, the release date has been bumped to this year. Apparently Isaacson was aware of Jobs’ near-death status, and interviewed him just after he stepped down as Apple CEO, and according to the reports Jobs was aware he was going to die soon.
The publication of the Steve Jobs biography has been boosted up to October 24th, from the previous November 21 publication date.
Jobs’ death saw the biography’s pre-sales shoot up 41,800% on Amazon.com.
