Showyou, It’s Like Flipboard For Video

Remember Flipboard? The iPad app which pulled in news articles from all your social media and presented it in a handy package for you to read? Well, now there’s something very similar for video. It’s a free app called Showyou, and it pulls in video content from all your friends social network accounts. Unlike Flipboard, it’s purely video, and it’ll pull in content from Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and YouTube to your iPhone or iPad, and can then stream via AirPlay to your AppleTV.

There’s also a built-in mechanism for sharing what you see to your video, to Twitter, or to Facebook.

Here’s the official description:

Showyou is a fun and immersive social video app for your iPad, iPhone and iPad Touch. Watch the videos your friends are sharing on Facebook, Twitter or Vodpod, all in one place, the Showyou Grid.

Further customize Showyou by inviting your friends to get Showyou or by following other Showyou members.Talk about your favorite videos on Showyou with your friends on the Showyou feed. And watch videos being shared by your friends on your television using Airplay and an Apple TV (you’ll need version 2.0). It’s magical, really.
