Available on February 1st, Seagate will be offering a 1TB hard drive which features the ability to stream to 3 different iOS Devices at one time. This means your 64GB limit on your iOS Device worries are somewhat gone. Because this hard drive will broadcast it’s own network and allow up to 8 connections at a time, it can also serve as a self dependent mobile server for your iOS devices.
In addition to all this fun, you can also save to the drive from an iOS device using a Seagate iOS app. Seagate claims the drive’s battery will last for 10 hours, providing plenty of time to stream your goodies including music, pictures, documents, and of course, video. Though we obviously have not tested it out yet, for $199 it seems to be a no brainer for those wanting to carry their media around in mass.
