Samsung To Make iPad Screens?

The Korea Times is reporting that Samsung has picked up a major order from Apple to provide LCDs for the iPad. According to the report, Samsung has been tapped to produce 3 million LCDs, a deal worth a reported $240 million. LG is thought to also be on Apple’s books providing 10 million LCDs, but reports have arisen that touch panel supplier Wintek is causing delays in the production of the device.

As 9 to 5 Mac rightly point out, Korea Times doesn’t exactly have a stellar record with this sort of rumor, but if true…13 million iPads? That’s pretty steep expectations, Apple.

You could be the lucky owners of of one of those 13 million devices, just by entering our competition to win an iPad!
