In what can only be described as a bewildering and classless attempt at live advertising, it appears Samsung sent a group of black-clad protestors to an Apple store in Sydney, where they held up signs and chanted “wake up”. An Apple blogger caught the protest above, which has been linked to an extensive campaign by Samsung.
As a campaign, I find this utterly peculiar. A group of people dressed identically, chanting in unison, is meant to inspire us to rebel against the conformity of Apple products? And what exactly were they meant to be protesting? At least when Greenpeace sends out protestors, they have a point in mind, not just some ill-advised viral campaign.

Yet it is getting reported on and hence free advertising.
I agree with this entirely. Doesn’t Samsung provide some of Apple product’s parts? Like the screens?
