NewRelic has assembled this infographic comparing the speed of using Safari on iOS 4 and iOS 5, and the mosr recent iteration of the OS has received a major speedboost. This isn’t just a few percent shaved off the load time, but rather a significant shift, causing pages to load remarkably faster.
My one complaint is that we don’t know much about the testing methodology and how accurate their results are. A bit of YouTube documentation of the speed comparisons wouldn’t go awry.
What do you think? Have you noticed the improvements in your upgraded version of iOS? Has Safari behaved better for you?
