Ready for your daily dose of leaked parts? Today, two new pieces of the puzzle have popped up, one for the new iPhone, and one for the rumored iPad Mini.
The first is a fully assembled new iPhone front panel, including the 4-inch screen that we’re all so excited about. This comes from UBreakiFix, via way of MacRumors, who has also provided a close-up of the serial number for the component. This is the first view we’ve had of the LCD, which is rumored to have the same pixel-density as the current iPhone, just with a bigger screen.
Simultaneously, iResQ (via 9to5) has a series of dock connectors for both the new iPhone and iPad Mini, showing off the much discussed change to the size and shape of said connector. Interestingly, the iPad Mini versions come in either black or white, so you may be able to get different colors for that device — and it looks like the headphone port will be right against the dock.
Another point of interest is that the close-up of the dock connector only has eight pins, and it doesn’t look like there is a metal surrounding that would function as a de-facto ninth pin.
