According to a report in DigiTimes, Apple is planning to overhaul several of their product lines including the iPad, iMac, iPhone and MacBook Air. This major overhaul is expected in 2012 according to upstream supply chain sources.
DigiTimes track record of late is spotty at best. They also claim Apple has requested flat panel modules for two iPad prototypes codenamed J1 and J2.
Just hours later, DigiTimes out-rumored their own rumor, by reporting that an updated iPad will launch in March 2012. Their sources indicate the iPad launching in March will not be the iPad 3, which will be launching in the third quarter of 2012 at the earliest.
DigiTimes has been incredibly incorrect over the past few months, so grab your salt shakers with extreme prejudice.
