According to a report this morning, Apple is designing a tablet computer that will be available through Verizon. The tablet will be a data-only device and Verizon will likely offer a subsidy with a subscription. The tablet will not be a netbook by definition, but we’re thinking a larger iPod touch.
Rumors surrounding an iTablet continue to surface and at some point one has to wonder if there is any truth to them. Is there is a market for $300-$500 tablet? If you are a current iPhone owner, this still doesn’t allow you to make the switch to Verizon, the carrier many see as offering the best service in the US.
