This case comes in 2 pieces of hard plastic. At first I thought it was a cheap plastic case, but I was wrong. In my opinion this is the best hard case out right now. The 2 pieces of plastic slide onto the top and bottom of the iPhone. The fit is wonderful! Nice and snug. It also covers the chrome edges. There are many rumors saying that the 2 pieces scratch the chrome. I never had a problem with that, but I also kept the case on my phone. It might be possible to scratch the chrome edges if the case is constantly removed. Anyways this is a great hard case and it doesn't add a lot of bulk to the iPhone! The only thing I don't like about it is that the logo takes up a lot of space on the back of the case!

This case is a really nice addition to the iPhone. The fit is almost PERFECT, but over time the fit tends to wear. I have had this case since the iPhone launch. I also would prefer not having the silver emblem on the case. All-in-all this is a wonderful holster with a great fit, even after a long time, but overpriced because it has a silver Belkin emblem.
