I recently went to Peru where the national currency is the Peruvian Sole. It did a very good job in keeping me up to date in the days leading to my departure. It allowed me to look for the best exchange rates prior to leaving and when I arrived in Peru. For a free application you cannot ask for more!

For most common applications this program will be suitable. The interface is clean, recently updated to make all text legible and very easy to read (prior version text was small and light colored which made it difficult). The program is very stable, I have not experience any application crashes or hang ups.

Pros:

• Amount entered does not auto clear when altering the conversion units.


• Interface is clean and not cluttered.


• Application is cheap.


• Most common units are available.

Cons:

• While good for common applications the program might not have the depth for advanced use.


• 
  Does not account for significant figure usage.
