I upgraded from a 2G to a 3G and I purchased a slider Incase (hard cover) for the 2G and another slider Incase and a silicone Incase for the 3G. I think incase make the very best iphone cases. They are durable and stay that way. They're not bulky and they come in great colors. They are truly custom made for iphones.
