I also was looking for a holster style case for my phone. This holster holds the phone VERY well, but only in the screen out direction. when the phone is placed in the holster in the screen in position, the phone is not held in with enough tension for everyday use. while being stored screen in, the phone fell out of the holster - twice. I no longer use the holster with the screen in. with the screen out, this holster holds very tight - but not so tight it could not be removed with one hand. if you are wearing gloves ow have wet hands, i may be tough to get a grip on the phone to remove it, otherwise this holster works well for its designed purpose.
