I wanted a case that is similar to my blackberry's holster, and this one was the closest.
The Elan is very attractive, and complements the iPhone beautifully. It can accommodate the phone both when facing inwards and outwards.
My preference was to insert the phone into the holster where the screen faces inwards, but since iPhone is not really symmetrical, the holster doesn't hold it tightly. I had to force the sides of the holster to get a tighter fit. As a result, I couldn't find a balance where the phone is both held securely in place, but easy to take out.
I think that the best case would be some combination of a padded protection plus the ability to quickly holster it. Anybody know of such a case?
