I got this headset a while ago to use with my old phone. i really have no major complaints about this headset. it's pretty affordable now that there is a lot of newer headsets on the market that have a lot more features. but for a general headset, it's a good buy. most of the time the person i am talking to can hear me.. sometimes if the headset changes position on my ear, they can't hear me very well over the "outside" noise. also, the 'voice call' button doesn't seem to have as useful as a function, now that the iPhone does not support voice dialing (which i hope changes in the future). but the battery life is pretty good and it is very small and lightweight. so if you are looking for a simple headset that won't cost you over a hundred bucks... i would recommend this one.

This is my second case for my iPhone (yes.. already) i originally bought a different 'clear case with holster' (called iSee) and the first one i was not pleased with the construction quality. it was a good "thought" .. but not carried out well.. well this case is EXACTLY what the other one SHOULD have been.

reasons why i love this case:

  1. it has a holster that holds the iPhone in SECURELY! (and the "swiveling belt clip" is also VERY secure.)

  2. the clear outer shell that covers the iPhone is very slim, and fits it perfectly.

  3. it comes with a static-screen protector!

When i stopped by the store to get this.. i made the mistake of buying a separate "screen protector" pack... and this case came with one already. (ooops. should have read the package a little better.

And while the iPhone screen is very scratch resistant.. it does pick up finger prints very easily. the screen protector doesn't resist all of the finger print-ing.. but it is better than the iphone glass itself. it was very easy to "install" and if you take it off, it doesn't leave a sticky residue on the iPhone screen.

So my rating is an ENTHUSIASTIC A+! if you are looking for a hard sided case with a belt clip.. i recommend this one.

We can all nit-pick anything in life. but really, for a first generation and the first of its kind... it is an amazing product. Yes, of course there could be faster internet with edge (but we have to remember that the speed of the network has nothing to do with the phone itself and actually is the service providers issue.. and also i'm sure that will get faster as time goes by.) and you could have more hard drive space (i'm sure that will be added later. right now, i haven't even filled half of my 8 GB... and i don't plan on filling it up with music, since i have two other ipods to just play music. this is my PHONE for goodness sake! :-) ) i've had no issues with the phone feature itself... it sync'd up to all my calendars, contacts, etc. without a hitch. it paired with my existing bluetooth headset without any trouble... and the battery life is much better than i expected it to have. (i mean.. seriously.. with that LARGE of a screen, you're not going to get 15 days of battery life when it's illuminated all the time.. not if you don't want to have a 17 pound phone! :-P )

So i give my iPhone an enthusiastic A+. I'm sure Apple will continue to improve this product... just the same that they have come so far with their computers, operating systems, etc. I'm certain that we are seeing a glimpse of the future here!

First off.. i haven't had any major problems with this case yet. but i want to stress *yet*. :-) many people have pointed out that the click on the holster is not very reliable.. and while i haven't had any problems with it.. i do see how it can easily break. it really is a nice IDEA.. but i don't think the design was carried out very well in the production and materials choice.

I find that the clip will work fine if i attach it to a thick leather belt (which i usually wear.. but if you don't have a sturdy belt.. the clip would easily slip off.

One plus to having this case with two parts, is that i can put the iPhone in in the holster with the screen facing the clip, and then it is pretty secure and safe from anything that could scratch the screen. (since the hard shell on the back of the iPhone is now facing outwards)

Another downfall is with the actual plastic case itself. every time i take the iPhone out of the case, i fear that I'm going to scratch it in more places than one... so if you get this.. i recommend that you leave it in the 'shell' all the time. also, since I've taken it out of the shell a couple times, the iPhone seems to move around a slight bit inside the plastic... which i didn't notice before.

So right now the case is working just fine. but i really have to keep a close eye on it, because I'm afraid this 'rotating clip' is going to just pop right off the holster. but I'll use this until i find a case that is built better with some of the same features. :-)
