In an App Store full of overpriced and overhyped weather apps, some of the greats go unnoticed. Weather Bug is a fantastic free weather app that allows for GPS pinpointing to allow the user to view a current radar picture above their location. The app also lets the user view a weather camera that is located around the zip code of the user. The user can see exactly how it looks outside without leaving the comforts of their home.

Weather Bug could certainly be improved even more through updates and will hopefully allow for moving radar images in the future.

While the price of What's On went from $0.99 to $1.99 recently, the price is still worth it. I've added about 10 of my favorite shows into the program and it remembers each of them and tells me exactly when the next showing of one of my favorite shows is going to occur. It's able to tell you about shows up to a week in advance. Scrolling between listings is extremely easy. By swiping your finger across the screen you can go forward or background in 30 minute intervals, easily determining what's on TV at all times.

I haven't experienced any issues yet and the app lets you find both cable and satellite listings so I can use it while at home and school to see what's on TV.

With the multiple of applications available via the iTunes Store, finding a true gem is difficult. Finding a free one is a rarity. Shazam is a song-recognizing App that allows the user to identify music heard on commercials, in a club, or in the car, without the need of searching for the song on the internet.

The App loads quite smoothly and operates even better. After pressing down the ?Tag Now? button, the user holds the iPhone speaker near the source of music and after tagging the song for 30 seconds, Shazam identifies the song title and artist. The usefulness however goes even further as Shazam provides links to YouTube as well as for iTunes to download the song immediately. While Shazam isn?t able to identify every song perfectly, I have experienced a near 90% accuracy rate during the course of use.

I give Shazam a 5 star review for ease of use and free availability. Of all free Apps, this is by far the best.
