great screen protector
This is a great screen protector. I had no problems with the touch screen after applying it. Make sure that you wipe the phone clean of dirt of dust, and apply it in a clean environment. I accidentally got some small particles on the cover when applying, so I just washed the cover in soap and water. I dried it off with a hair dryer in my hand and was able to reapply without any problems.
great protectors, but hard to get on perfectly
At this point I've tried 3 different types of screen protectors and I've come back to these as the best. My only gripe is that screen protectors in general are hard foe me to get on "perfectly". I'm a perfectionist and I can't stand even one tiny speck of dust on them and I like them lined up perfectly. I think I've gone through 9 protectors so far because I screwed them up. In my experience, once there's a speck of dust or something, there's no recovering. As soon as I try to pull it up it just seems to suck every piece of dirt within a mile to it. It also seems next to impossible to remove a piece of dust without screwing up the protector.
As I said, these films are no worse or better about this than any other films. With my next batch I'm going to try a tip I read: apply them in the bathroom after running a hot shower for a few minutes. I've read that the humidity keeps the air much more dust free.
Expensive, but worth it.
I just put the film on my iPhone last night and I was impressed with how well the film fit. It makes the iPhone's screen a nice matte finish that still allows for great touch control. You'll also be impressed with the lack of air bubbles because the film is actually pretty stiff yet not intrusive at all. I highly recommend it.
Great Product
The salespeople at the Apple Store tried to dissuade me from purchasing these, claiming that the face of the iPhone was scratch-proof, but I purchased it anyway, and am glad I did.
Easy to apply, as other reviewers have said. I used the cloth provided with the iPhone to smooth out the plastic as I laid it down.
I love this product, and highly recommend it.
You get what you pay for.
$15 for two screen covers!? That's crazy, right? Well, not exactly. I purchased the anti-glare version of these screen protectors from Power Support and, to put it simply - you absolutely get what you pay for. Perfect fit, absolutely fantastic performance (in direct sunlight, the screen is crystal clear and remarkably bright), and incredible ease of installation (less than a minute), couple these qualities with a scratch-resistant surface, and you have quite the product in these screen protectors. The $15 price tag is a bit steep for two protectors, but this is a fantastic product that is well worth the extra investment.
Good protection.
Very worthwhile product, however, one of my films in the set has a couple of blemishes. Be sure to put the film on in a dust-free area. As others have said, it's quite easy to put on by lining up one edge and working it on with the iPhone screen cloth. Recommended product.
Surprisingly good.
I was really skeptical that I would be able to apply this film without trapping air bubbles under it. However, this wasn't much of a problem at all. The film is more rigid than you might guess. All I had to do was start at the bottom edge and very gradually lay it down from the bottom edge working my way to the top. If an air bubble appeared, , all I did was lift it slightly, let the bubble vanish, then resume easing it down. Took all of 1 minute.
My only complaint is that $15 for two of these films feels a little pricey.
Great product
I bought this screen cover the night we bought our iPhones. It is easy to keep clean and I feel better knowing my screen is protected. My wife carries her iPhone around in her purse, along with the usual crap, so I really wanted to protect hers. The film is invisible and strong. The end price is not bad since there are two protectors to the package. I recommend this product.
Not really Pricey
I did not think pricey at all. 14.95 is for two. That would be about 7.50 per unit. Ok.... not cheap for a piece of plastic but it is more like an insurance policy against scratching the glass screen. They work well and you don't even know thy are there.
Good but pricey
So this is actually a great screen protector. The only thing i really feel let down by is the price. There is no reason a screen protector should be almost $20.
