Case Mate Signature Leather Case

Thing was great and I loved it for the first 2 weeks that I had it. Now the stupid plastic piece separated from the leather. The phone FELL off my belt while I was walking!! VERY VERY bad build quality. The plastic clip is only GLUED to the leather... not a good build at all!

The case is good, EXCEPT, after only a few weeks of using it, the clip separated from the leather, and it's now useless as a belt mounted phone, which is why I got the case in the first place. I have not yet contacted Case Mate, perhaps they will send a replacement.

Got this case a few days after iDay, so I've had the case for around a month and a half. I liked the design compared to what was available.

Now the bad part and as others have noted, the piece that you screw in the round belt clip attachment into is just glued on and eventually separates from the case. VERY POOR design and should at least be riveted.

When mine separated the case, with the phone inside, fell of without me noticing. The phone has a little scratch on the upper right corner close to the camera, no dent. I was able to get the phone back, by calling the phone and the person that found it waited for me.

So, until they secure the critical piece with a rivet buy a different case.

I ordered the perforated black leather version. Looks good on my belt but more importantly it makes the iphone more accessible. Previously I had used a mall kiosk bought pouch that made it hard to pull out the phone each time I needed it.

So far very happy with the way it looks and works.

belt clip came unglued - looks like my love affair is over

I was looking for a leather case that provided good protection. This one does just that and is a much better value for the money than most the other cases out there. The fit is excellent since this is actually a hard case. The feel of the leather is nice and soft. My only complaint is the overly large camera cutout. A small hole would have provided better protection for the corner of the iPhone.

I'm looking forward to receiving the holster so that I can keep the phone on my belt without worrying about the screen being exposed.

I loved everything about this case except for this..

I go to click my phone into the holster and the tab on the case broke off into the holster. I took it back and traded it for another one of which 2 days later I was just walking along and it broke in the same place again and this time dropped the phone on the unprotected corner...dented!

Just thought I should let people know of this problem.

I spent years trying to find the perfect case for my iPod and never quite got what I wanted. With one purchase I found the perfect case for my iPhone. It's a tight fit, but that's what I wanted. The leather piece along the top doesn't cover the earpiece, and it comes with a screen protector. Great case!

I ordered both the flip and signature case from case-mate and sent the flip back. Fit is great but the feel of it in my hands sold me. I had the DLO Jam Jacket since purchase but I had trouble getting it out of my pocket and it didn't match the quality of the Sig case. I added a an iQase screen protector and I am good to go! You can't go wrong on this one.

I am very happy with this case ? the Signature. Some may perceive lack of quality because the case is a leather molded shell and very lightweight. But then, who wants to carry around an iPhone in a boat anchor.

I don't use belt clips. The belt clip screws into the case instead of attaching via a raised post. This eliminates the bump on the case making it easy to carry in my pants pocket.

The only thing is you have to remove the case to place the iPhone in the charger stand. Otherwise, I really am very satisfied.

Perfect. After buying a black Speck Toughskin and hating how it collected dust and turned from a new tire look to old in just two days I switched to the white Speck and was disappointed with the looseness. So, this morning I bought this Case Mate Leather. I don't like leather but this is too ideal. I bulked at the price but saw the company web site and shipping cost and decided to purchase. Nice snug fit. Ease of access to buttons with no hard edges. Just perfect.
