This phone lives up to most of the hype and expectations. There are a lot of things I was worried about before I got it. For example connecting to local wireless networks had me concerned. But it is so easy sometimes I don't even realize it has found and connected to a WiFi LAN. Apple thought of everything when they designed this beauty.
Like a typical Apple product the iPhone just works. The simplicity and elegance are enough to put the competition to shame.
My only complaint is how long the battery lasts. But I suspect that may be because I am sill showing off all the features to friends.

After the frustration of many cell phone/smart phone disappointments (latest Palm Treo 650), I finally have a phone that works intuitively, adds great WiFi integration, syncs miraculously and flawlessly with my iLife data, feels great, looks great, etc. I can't wait to see the cool 3rd party software for this thing (widgets and apps). Apple suceeds again where others take the money and run from the problems caused by a another rushed to market product. Kudos to Jobs and company!

Love it, but missing not having any games to play. I'd also like filters for my mail. My junk mail seems to come through and I can't seem to select all or shift select mails I don't want. I'd also like to set up rules so that I don't get caught having to download some 10 meg file that I'd rather open up on my desktop.
Amazing phone, complaints I had are solved.

Amazing phone, no complaints except, no iChat (AIM/yahoo/instant messenger clients, and no 3g. BUT! I owned the 8525 which had 3g and its a battery killer! with the fast speeds on this already (over 200kbs!) YouTube has been more than a treat. Also for AIM, everyone goto http://wwwl.meebo.com/ on your iPhone for your own AIM/yahoo/gtalk/jabber client. I have no complaints anymore. Excellent phone and great battery life. AMAZING! Get one now!

I had no problems syncing or activating my phone, I opted for a Pay as you go plan so no contract. I am having some problems in sending e-mails from my Comcast account, surfing the web via Wifi is very good, haven't tried it with the Edge Network as I am not sure I can pick it up here in South Carolina. Typing with keyboard isn't as difficult as reported, phone reception was good, once the ether has worn off we'll see if this will become one of the best combo smart phones in the country.

This is truly an amazing gadget. While there are some small details I would like fixed overall it is the best phone out on the market. Some problems include a flawed email system and many missing software apps. Keep in mind apps can be added and fixed via Apple Software updates. Overall I give this a 9.9 out of 10.
