Earlier this year we heard that Playboy was planning on releasing an uncensored iPad app, only to announced that it wouldn’t be a native iOS app. Well, the day you’ve all been so eagerly waiting for is finally here, the Playboy web app has been unleashed on the unsuspecting iPad population. Simply called iPlayboy, it’s an HTML5 based web subscription that gives you access to what we believe is the the entire as well as current issues as they’re released.
Assuming you’re over 18, you can but a subscription for a recurring $8 per month, $60 a year, or $100 for two years.
As clichéd as it is, this is almost worth it for the articles. For many, many years, Playboy was a haven of journalistic excellence, and one of the places you could go for truly excellent fiction and non-fiction writing.
