Palm OS Apps Come To iPhone Courtesy of StyleTap

In the mood for rocking some old school Palm OS apps on your iPhone? Today is your lucky day, if you don’t mind jailbreaking your iPhone. StyleTap likely won’t make it to the App Store anytime in the near future, but you can download it via Cydia. All this Palm OS goodness does come at a steep price. For the pleasure of rocking DiddleBug, BugMe and others, you’ll have to pay $49.99. A cheaper alternative would be to bust out your Treo 650, but at least you know have the option of converging your old technology with new. For more information, check out StyleTap.

I liked my Palm TX in its day, but why anyone would pay that much to put Palm OS apps on the iPhone is beyond me. Some of my favorite Palm apps have better ports to the iPhone, and those that don’t have better ports, or ports of any kind to the iPhone, there usually is something better, faster, and cheaper that will do the job in the app store. When I want some Palm nostalgia, I just fire up my TX and save the $$$.
