With both the 4th of July and the 2012 Olympics coming up in the near future, you can bet that flag sales are going to spike as people want to get their patriotism on. The folks at OtterBox have decided to tap this market with a series of five Defender cases dubbed the Anthem Collection. Going for $59.95 a pop, there are currently three versions available, with two more in the works — including the Canadian one.
At the same time OtterBox is doing at least a little more than just cashing in on people’s patriotism. The company’s actually sponsoring three Olympic hopeful athletes from Fort Collins, Colorado. Which is actually a pretty decent thing of them to do.
