Tomorrow Samsung is taking over Times Square in New York City and will use Radio City Music Hall as the venue to announce the Samsung Galaxy S4. In advance of tomorrow, Phil Schiller went on the offensive in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. There are some choice quotes where he makes his feelings on Android quite clear.
“Android is often given a free replacement for a feature phone and the experience isn’t as good as an iPhone.”
“When you take an Android device out of the box, you have to sign up to nine accounts with different vendors to get the experience iOS comes with,” he said. “They don’t work seamlessly together.”
Schiller also discussed the fragmentation issue on Android to which he called “plain and simple.” Just last week in a rare tweet, Schiller cautioned users to “be careful out there” and linked to a report on malware.
