TeleNav is reportedly bringing their route guidance software to the iPhone 3G, enabling turn by turn directions using the iPhone's GPS. The application is not available in the iPhone App Store, but TeleNav promises that it's coming.

TeleNav for iPhone will feature full-color 3D moving maps, turn by turn voice guidance, POI's and traffic aware routing. TeleNav makes route guidance software for other mobile phones including the new Samsung Instinct and certain GPS equipped BlackBerry devices. TomTom has reportedly developed their application, but have yet to be accepted into the iPhone Developer program. This app certainly adds more lustre to included GPS on the iPhone 3G.
