GoogleTalk for iPhone and iPod touch Released

Fresh from the GoogleLabs, GoogleTalk for iPhone and iPod touch has been released. GoogleTalk does not require iPhone Software Update 2.0 as it's completely web based. Simply fire up Safari and visit www.google.com/talk. Sign in and start chatting.

When you leave Safari, your session will be terminated, but will restart when you return. Google has "ried to keep the design as faithful to the desktop experience as possible". There is no charge for GoogleTalk. Standard data charges apply if you are not using a WiFi connection.
