In the fall, Facebook will be releasing the Cocoa framework that will allow other iPhone Apps to utilize your Facebook profile data. The SDK will allow developers to intergrate their apps with Facebook data, so it should certainly bring some interesting apps. Facebook Connect is currently available for desktop apps, but expect iPhone apps to take advantage of this SDK in the fall.

Having access to Facebook data, could pose some clear advantages to end users who will not have to re-submit their personal information into the corresponding iPhone apps that will utilize Facebook Connect.
