One of the most sought after features in the iPhone would be one that many smartphones take for granted. Up until now, the iPhone has not had the ability to do copy & paste, but reports say that iPhone Firmware 2.1 could include this feature.

The update will introduce enhancements and in general add stability to the platform. There have been indications that new Core Location services found within early releases of the update could be a sign that route guidance software could be around the corner for the iPhone 3G. iPhone Firmware 2.1 could prove to be an impressive update. No official word on the release date.
