Conceptual Rendering of Starbucks Order Process Using iPhoneJanuary 11, 2008
By: Christopher Meinck
A recent patent filed by Apple describes a wireless system that allows a customer to place an order at a store using a wireless device such as an MP3 player or cellphone. Given the strong relationship between Apple and Starbucks, the immediate thought was that it wouldn't be long before you're ordering your Venti Traditional via your iPhone. A talented designer Phil Lu has put together some amazing visuals of how this process could actually work. If and when Apple announces this feature, it could make ordering at fast food restaurants, Starbucks easier than ever using your iPhone or iPod Touch. Click to enlarge. Click to enlarge.
