AppleScript Stops iPhoto Launch When Docking iPhone

By: Christopher Meinck

Using the latest version of iPhoto, there still isn't an option to turn of syncing for a specific device, namely the iPhone. While you can turn off auto-lauching globally, this of course prevents iPhoto from launching when a digital camera is attached. For some, this is mildly annoying and luckily Matt Radel of 37signals has created an AppleScript that prevents iPhoto from launching when docking your iPhone.

Editor's Note: Please use caution if and when you attempt this procedure. For more information on this script, check out 37signals. The author also has a video tutorial to accompany the written directions.
