Apple has launched a new web application directory for iPhone users.

The directory allows iPhone owners to browse for applications based on an assortment of criteria including most recent, most popular and more. Additionally, Apple's new web application directory allows you to select applications by category.

To access the new Web app directory, point your Safari browser to www.apple.com/webapps
