Last week at the Apple World Wide Development Conference, The Apple Design Awards, held last week at WWDC in San Francisco, recongized technical excellence, innovation and outstanding achievement in software development. Despite third party applications not being available to the public, they did however honor the best applications and games for the iPhone. Expect these to be available when the App Store launches in the coming weeks.

Best iPhone Social Networking Application
Twitterrific is an iPhone version of the Iconfactory
