According to a Financial Times report, Apple and 20th Century Fox have reached an agreement that will bring movie rentals to iTunes.
The new VOD or video on demand service will reportedly allow consumers to rent the latest FOX DVD movie releases through iTunes. A digital file, protected by Apple's FairPaly digital rights management system, will allow the video to be transfered to your video iPod, iPod Touch and iPhone. It's also likely that the service offer compatibility with AppleTV, a set-top box that allows owners to access digital media files from their desktop PC or Mac.
